Thornton Hough Community Trust Home

Thornton Hough Community Trust Ltd is a charity established in 1999 just prior to the death of the last Lord Leverhulme , it was created to preserve and enhance his legacy of the model village of Thornton Hough. The Trust now finds itself embarking on protecting that legacy.

We have completed many projects including: Childrens play area on the Green, Chirstmas Lights each year, daffodils through the village, grants to groups in the village including the Village Hall, Village Club, Playgroups, Churches, Cricket Club, School plus many more.

Currently we are working tirelessly to protect our beautiful village from unwanted erotion of our Greenbelt from developers and the local authority who are undertaking a review of the Greenbelt boundaries and potential sites for development.
