FUNDRAISING - in Support of the Reading Room and Library (The Village Hall) Charity no.523082.

Target : £750 for a new Marquee for the Summer Fair.  TARGET ACHIEVED AND MARQUEE PURCHASED.  Very many thanks to all in the community for your support and generosity.

Thank you also to all who have signed up to raise free funds via Easyfundraising we have now raised over £196 in just a few months from 9 anonymous supporters, that’s amazing.  These donations, at no cost to the consumer, come from the retailer when you shop on-line, it’s their way of supporting the individual consumer’s charity of choice.  It may only be 50p or so at a time … but see how it adds up.  Over 8000 retailers are signed up to the scheme.  (From our experience bookings.com are particularly generous with their donations).  See www.easyfundraising.org.uk for detailed information about the scheme and how to participate.

Do you have a Fundraising Idea?  Please let us know if you have any fundraising ideas that you would be happy to organise.   Or maybe you or someone you know, even if not in the village, may wish to hire the hall for a private event, for example a children’s party or other family celebration; meetings or talks etc.
