Markers Training at Totnes Bowling Club

Saturday 18th May

Bar open 1pm for a prompt 1.30pm start.

This markers awareness session is aimed at the duties of a marker. A refresher for those who have marked before and an intro for those who would like to in the future. This session will be both indoors & outdoors weather permitting with a power point presentation plus a series of interesting measuring exercises, so if you are a number 2 in a triples game or a number 3 in a rinks game this session will be of use. Measuring equipment will be provided. Casual dress so no need for club shirts but please wear bowls shoes or flat soled shoes.

We may even have a brief Bowls Quiz to follow if time permits.

Please support this session as without markers we cannot have singles matches within our club competitions

A poster including space to add your name to indicate you are coming to the session is on the main notice board. (6/4) Plus posters advertising the afternoon are displayed in the gents and ladies changing rooms and by the bar.
