WELCOME TO WEST ALLEN PARISH COUNCIL
West Allen Parish is situated in southwest Northumberland, in the North Pennines National Landscape.
Your Parish Council
The West Allen Parish Council has four Councillors (one place is currently vacant), who meet every three months to consider issues affecting the community.
Meetings are normally held in the months of:
- March
- May
- September
- December
The Annual Parish Meeting takes place in May.
Meetings are open to the public and the Parish Council encourage residents to attend where they are able.
Our Role in the Community
Parish Councils are the tier of local government closest to the people and are there to serve the whole community.
Residents of the Parish can raise concerns or give opinions on local matters which will be passed on to the relevant department of Northumberland County Council.
