Whitfield Women's Institute (WI)

The Women’s Institute in Whitfield is a small, friendly, fun, supportive and creative group of women.

They usually meet in Whitfield Parish Hall (just next to the Elk’s Head pub) at 7.00pm on the second Wednesday of the month.

Activities and Outings

As well as their monthly meeting, the group organises outings to various interesting places eg Epiacum near Alston, Ushaw House. They are also hoping to gradually walk Hadrian’s Wall.
