We are honoured that President Donald J Trump took timeout from bombing Iran to provide this week's guest commentary-

Ladies and gentlemen… what a week. What an incredible week. People are coming up to me — thousands, maybe millions — and they’re saying, “Sir, have you heard what Wellington A did? It’s unbelievable.” And they’re right. Because this week, we saw something historic. Something powerful. Something 12–0.

That’s right. Wellington A — they didn’t just win. They dominated. They crushed. They delivered the most beautiful, perfect, tremendous 12–0 victory you’ve ever seen.

Some people said they couldn’t do it. Some people said they were finished. But guess what? They were wrong. Very wrong.

🔥 DIVISION ONE — “WINNING LIKE NEVER BEFORE”

Burnham‑on‑Sea A — still undefeated. Still tremendous. Five wins, no losses, huge aggregates. They’re doing fantastic things. Really fantastic.

Williton A — also perfect. Also winning. They’re like Burnham A but with slightly different hats. Great team.

North Petherton A — strong, powerful, very impressive.

Bridgwater A, Ilminster B, Bridgwater B — all doing well. All winners. All tremendous.

But the big story — the one everyone’s talking about — is Wellington A.

Because this week, they didn’t just win. They didn’t just get points. They annihilated Taunton Deane A.

Twelve–zero. A huge aggregate. A performance so dominant people are calling it “the greatest of all miracles.”

And I’m telling you — this is the start of something big. Very big. The greatest comeback in bowls history. Maybe the greatest comeback in any history.

And Eastover… well… they’re still trying. We wish them well.

🔥 DIVISION TWO — “THE BEST DIVISION TWO, MAYBE EVER”

Now let me tell you about Wellington B — what a team. What a story. They’re winning everything. They’re leading the division with a +102 aggregate. People are calling them “the Rolls‑Royce of Division Two.” I agree. Beautiful bowls. Beautiful people.

Burnham‑on‑Sea B — undefeated, very strong, very classy. They dropped three points this week — very sad — but still fantastic.

Taunton B — they’re fighters. They took three points off Burnham B. Nobody thought they could do it. But they did. And they did it big.

Wellington C — tough week. Very tough. But they’re fighters. They’ll be back. They always come back.

North Petherton C — still winless. But we believe in them. Maybe.
