🏆 Division One — Week 7 Summary & Analysis

🔥 Top of the Table: Two Unstoppable Forces

Burnham-on-Sea A and Williton A both sit on 76 points, both unbeaten, both with identical match records (7–0). Burnham edge the aggregate (+134 vs +122), but Williton’s consistency is frightening.

This is now a two‑horse race. Everyone else is fighting for third place at best.

🥉 Battle for Third

Three sides are in the mix:

  • Bridgwater A – 58 pts

  • North Petherton A – 57 pts

  • Bridgwater B – 46 pts

Bridgwater A and North Petherton A are almost level on games won and aggregate. Week 8 could flip them again.

📉 Mid‑Table Movers

  • Taunton Deane A (42 pts) and Taunton A (42 pts) remain locked together.

  • Ilminster A (38 pts) and Ilminster B (35 pts) are drifting but safe.

⚠️ Relegation Zone Pressure

The bottom four are now clearly defined:

Wellington A and Eastover are in deep trouble — both with only 1 win from 7 and heavy negative aggregates.

Taunton Deane C’s -133 aggregate is catastrophic. Eastover’s -145 is even worse.

Right now, Wellington A and Eastover are the two most likely to drop.

🏆 Division Two — Week 7 Summary & Analysis

🔥 Wellington B: Dominant, Ruthless, Untouchable

7 wins from 7, 149 aggregate, 74 points. They are walking the division and already look promoted.

This is the strongest Division Two performance in years.

🥈 Chasing Pack

Three teams are fighting for the second promotion spot:

  • Burnham-on-Sea B – 58 pts

  • Taunton B – 55 pts

  • Bridgwater C – 54 pts

  • North Petherton B – 53 pts

All four have winning records and positive aggregates. This is going to be a brilliant scrap.

📉 Mid‑Table

  • Taunton Deane B (52 pts) still have an outside chance of climbing.

  • Burnham-on-Sea C (39 pts) and Victoria Park A (37 pts) are drifting.

⚠️ Relegation Zone

The bottom four:

North Petherton C are almost certainly bottom — only 15 points and a brutal -114 aggregate.

Victoria Park B are in serious danger too.

Wellington C and Williton B are in the fight but need wins now.

📌 Key Storylines Going Into Week 8

Division One

  • Can anyone stop Burnham A or Williton A?

  • Bridgwater A vs North Petherton A is the battle for third.

  • Wellington A and Eastover must start winning or they’re gone.

Division Two

  • Wellington B are already champions in all but name.

  • Four teams chasing one promotion spot — huge drama incoming.

  • North Petherton C need a miracle.
