WELCOME TO WHALTON PARISH COUNCIL

Whalton Parish lies to the west of Morpeth and, at the time of the 2011 census, had a population of 474 people living in 210 households. The parish includes two main settlements—Whalton and Ogle—along with several smaller hamlets and outlying farms.

Meetings

Whalton Parish Council meets every other month to consider issues affecting our community, with particular attention to planning and highway matters.

Meetings are normally held at 7.30 pm in Whalton Village Hall and are open to the public.

Whalton Parish Council has six Councillors representing Whalton and Ogle. The Council does not appoint any Councillors to outside bodies.
