Wilmington Axstane Probus club was formed in 1990 to provide regular monthly meetings for Retired and Semi-retired Professional Business men, particularly for those who would appreciate and value in their retirement increased social contact and the possibility of partaking in activities of general interest.

We are independant of any other organisation and we are non-political and non-sectarian and we do not discuss politics or religion at our meetings.

We do, however, support a charity that is named by the current Chairman every year by fund raising at various events during the year. This year, our Chairman, Jack Swift has nominated two charities this year,  Motor Neurone Disease Association and ' Around and Around'.

We meet on the last Thursday of every month in Swanley Bowls club at 12 noon for a 12.45 lunch and an after lunch speaker. We also have a walk to a local area every month throughout the year as well as some evening walks during the Summer.

We have a Spring Break holiday every year where we go to a hotel for five days which includes various day trips. In the Autumn we have a weekend away where you do your own thing. Other day trips through the year are also organised.
