Womenswold is a village and civil parish close to Canterbury in Kent.  The parish consists of three hamlets: Womenswold, Woolage Village and Woolage Green and also encompasses Ropersole Park.  There are five elected members serving the area.

The church of St, Margaret of Antioch covers all three hamlets, located in Womenswold.  A small mediaeval building without any side aisles, it is part of the Barham Downs group of churches.

Womenswold Parish Council became inquorate in late 2023 when Canterbury City Council raised an order using Local Government Act 1972 s91 to appoint local members to the council.

Councillors Mike Sole, Valerie Kenny, Georgina Glover, Pat Todd and Lee Castle took office on 4th January 2024 and set about rebuilding the council.

At a meeting on 26th March 2024 the following councillors were co-opted onto the parish council:

Carol Craft Pauline Hobson James Miller Wesley Miller Christopher Stamp.

The parish council meets regularly to discuss parish matters.  Forthcoming meeting dates:
