FIT & FED, HOLIDAY CLUB

May half term Fit and Fed holiday club was a great success, over the 3 days we had 14 children attend each day, with a mix of ages and sex.

We started each day with breakfast which was a choice of cereal, toast, danishes, fresh fruit and juice.

We started each activity session with a warm up, to get the blood circulating and stretches so we didn't have any pulled muscles. Then on Tuesday we did football until 11am, we then stopped for refreshments after that we did dodgeball until 12pm. It was really hot so the children were exhausted. Lunch on Tuesday was Fried chicken and chips, fruit, cakes and drinks. On Wednesday we did our warm up, then we did some Hockey which was a great experience for some who had never picked up a hockey stick. We made the rules up as we went along. We finished the activities off we more Dodgeball. Lunch on Wednesday was Pizza and French fries, fresh fruit, cake and drinks. Then on Thursday we did our warmup followed by a bit of hockey, dodgeball, axe throwing and finished the activities with an inflatable duel battle. For lunch on Thursday(requested by the children) Fried chicken and French fries, cake fresh fruit and drinks.

The children had a fantastic time with no expense as it was all paid for by Street Games. They learnt a lot of new sports provided by Street Games and got to engage with other children.
