About the Bowls Club

Wotton-under-Edge Bowls Club is situated in the Dryleaze area of Wotton-under-Edge Gloucestershire. We are a small friendly mixed club founded in 1987. We aim to promote Bowls by playing at all game levels. The Club has a good program of mixed-friendly matches, and we also run two Men's league sides in the South Cotswold League and two Ladies league sides, one in the Corinium League and one in the Stroud Valley Triples League. Teams are also entered in County and National Competitions.

Our green is maintained by our dedicated greenkeeping staff resulting in one of the Best Greens in the County, we also have a modern Clubhouse which we use for social evenings during the Summer and Winter. Our current membership stands at approximately 80 players (55 men and 25 Ladies) We are always looking for new and experienced players Please contact our Secretary at 01453 844836 or 07836 796200 for more information

We have always been proud of our club, as members have been involved since the very earliest days, even with the laying of the Green and construction of the Clubhouse.
