Linda was a Life Member of the Welsh Women's Bowling Association and former WWBA Hon. Secretary. The British Isles Women's Bowls Council thoughts are with Linda's family, Knighton Bowling Club and the officers and members of Mid Wales Women's Bowling Association of which she was a founder member and secretary. She was also a Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist, World Bowls Medalist, Welsh International and Team Manager.

Her Funeral Service at St Edwards Church, Knighton will be at 2 pm on Friday 11th January 2019.

By request please, no flowers but donations if desired to St Edwards Church. If anyone would like to send condolences to Linda's family you may do so by addressing the Envelope to "Family of the Late Linda Parker MBE" and then send it for the attention of Sally Hall, Geoff Hall Funeral Directors Ltd., Wylcwm Close, Knighton, Powys LD7 1AD who will pass your condolences to Linda's family.
