Durham County Council's Civic Pride Team and Bearpark Primary School are holding a litter awareness assembly, followed by pupils painting/drawing posters to support litter awareness.

Bearpark Community Partnership (BCP) will select two posters from each year and produce printed copies to help raise awareness around the village.

The selected artwork will go on display at Bearpark Community Centre.

This is just the beginning of several ‘Litter to art’ events over the coming months organised by BCP. The second takes place on 12 July.
