Our 2018 season began with a friendly against De Havilland which unfortunately was disrupted by the weather and only 5 ends were played. We declared the game to be an honourable draw and retired for tea.

Three friendlies have been played during May with a two rink draw against North Mymms and Parkside just coming out winners by 4 points. We then had a midweek friendly at Harperbury with only one win from three rinks played and Harperbury winning overall by at least 60 to 30.

The East Herts Men's team then began their campaign and have now played 3 games during May against Stevenage Whites, Whit Hern Reds and Welwyn Harts with maximum points from all three games.

The Woods were up next with a 4 point gain over Kimpton, but unfortunately lost the next two games against Datchworth Yellows and Harlequins but then rallied with an excellent game against De Havilland earning the full 6 points.

The Greens began their campaign with a 4 point gain over Hertford, which was followed with just 2 points gained from BSP. That followed with a fine win over WGC Knights gaining all 6 points.

All competitions, both league and club, have now begun in earnest.
