Another very successful afternoon for Thirsk Ladies who won the Janet Harrow Shield today, in the final against a combined team from North Duffield and Driffield bowling clubs. The match was played in extreme weather conditions, with heavy rain bouncing off the green at York Railway Institute, but our team played on regardless, determined to win the trophy. Congratulations everyone!
