THIRSK ATHLETIC BOWLS CLUB

During the season from April to September our excellent green is open for bowling Monday to Saturday from 12 noon until dusk and Sunday 10.30am until dusk, except on Thirsk Race Days due to the position of our green,

Six rinks are available to all bowlers, where club members are willing to give help and guidance to new players.

"Bowling Buddies" begin meeting again in 2026 on Friday evenings when non-competitive friendly games are enjoyed by established club members with those new to the sport and wishing to improve their skills. Please note Bowling Buddies are unable to meet on Thirsk Race Days. Opening date to be announced.

BUDDIES LEAGUE. This weekly event on Tuesday evenings 6.30pm 2026 will see competitive bowls played between club members, followed by a time for social interaction and refreshments.
