About Us

The Parish of Adbaston consists of the villages Adbaston, Bishops Offley, Knighton, Doley and Flashbrook and its surrounding countryside.

Adbaston Parish Council About Us

The Parish Council consists of 7 volunteers and an employed clerk (part time).

We are the lowest tier of Local Government and have a variety of powers and duties, all of which impact directly on the community. Specifically, the current Councillors are committed to facilitating any concerns raised by the Parish residents with the relevant Council or associated authority. We are committed to undertake projects which will make difference within the Parish of Adbaston and reference recent successful projects as examples:

  • 30mph limit through Adbaston,
  • Installation of  4 Defibrillators within the Parish
  • The renewal of 4 Parish Notice Boards

All residents of the Parish are welcome to the meetings of the Parish Council and agendas are posted on this website and on the local notice Boards at least 5 days before each meeting, extending such an invitation.
