Defibrillators

There are 4 defibrillators managed by the Parish Council and are at the following locations:

• Excelsior Foods, Knighton

• Swinnerton Transport, Doley

• St Michael's & All Angels Church, Adbaston

• The Old Shop, Bishops Offley

The life of a person having a cardiac arrest can be saved by the prompt use of a defibrillator. Immediately you suspect a cardiac arrest, telephone 999 to request an ambulance and you will be told where the nearest defib is located and the code number to open the cabinet. All you need to know about defibs and how to use them can be found at the British Heart Foundation website: www.bhf.org.uk/defib
