Well Established

After many years, and a few false starts, Alton Men’s Shed has finally found a new location that will cut the shackles that were holding back the growth and expansion of a very popular local amenity.  Alton Men’s Shed have established their main activities in Edgar Hall, which is next to the Energique Gym in Anstey Park. This allows our charity to expand our work in helping the well-being and mental health of the residents in the Alton area. The population in Alton is increasing year on year and brings with it varied and challenging needs.

Alton Men’s Shed now has the workshop space that will accommodate, not only improved woodworking facilities, but the introduction of metal working, craft work, and IT, together with other activities that the members devize. Edgar Hall is well equipped with a kitchen, men's & lady’s toilets, disabled toilet and small lounge for “chill out” moments.  There is ample car parking our own car park.
