The river Wharfe runs below our picturesque village situated within the North Yorkshire Dales. Appletreewick has two delightful pubs, New Inn and The Craven, you will find a warm welcome in both. The Village is surrounded by stunning walks giving access to the beautiful countryside and an abundance of wild life. Part of the Dales Way runs along the Wharfe below Appletreewick.

There are opportunities to Camp, Glamp or for those who feel their camping days are over there are a number of airb&b’s or rooms at New Inn or Shepard Huts at The Craven.

2 miles outside of appletreewick you can visit Parceval Hall, retreat house of the Anglican Diocese of Leeds, part of the build dates back to 1586. They welcome day visitors to the extensive gardens where you can have refreshments at the cafe at the entrance to the gardens or stay longer in one of their rooms for some peace and tranquility away from it all.

A defibrillator is situated on the side of New Inn in the event of anyone needing it.
