A cold weekend saw the start of the Lawn Bowling Season with 18 players bowling at home on Saturday 20th April for our “Opening of the Green” event with the top 3 teams all scoring 21 points. The club is looking neat and tidy and the green played beautifully.
Sunday 21st saw us compete in our first match of the new season losing narrowly to Victoria Park.
Roll ups start this week on Mondays and Tuesdays for members with new players invited to come and join us on Friday evenings and Saturday Mornings. The coaches will be available at these times. New players are invited to participate in up to 6 sessions before they have to commit to joining the club.
Short Mat Bowling takes place 4 times a week throughout the year.
