This year has been an exceptional year for one of Ash Bowling Club's youngest members.
Kurtis Young, aged 23, started bowling when he was 8, encouraged and taught by his nan Barbara.
He has become a very talented bowler and this year Kurtis took part in the Unbadged County Singles Competition and went on to win the Division final, which earned him his County badge,
He now progresses to the County Finals in August.
The last time any player attained their county badge at Ash was in 1996, (Ted and John Castle and Andrew Smith) so, this is a very big achievement for him and hopefully will lead to bigger things.
