History

                               Ashford Camcorder Club

The Ashford Camcorder Club was formed in January 1994. It came about when a group wanted to learn more about video making and joined a group at the Towers School.  Apparently the course was not what some of the attendees thought it would be so they decided to start a club of their own. The Chairman was Mick Ibleton, Pam Mc Duff,[Secretary], Arthur Farris [Treasurer] and the club grew in first year to about 20 Members . The club started in Bybrook School, and there is only two of the original founder members at the club now and that is Lynn and Barry.  We were at the School till Pam gave up as caretaker  then John, a member, got permission to use the place we are still at now.
