Allotment Site
Aston Clinton Parish Council is pleased to offer Allotment plots in Aston Clinton Park for rent of £22.00 a plot per year to interested individuals. The Allotment Site in Aston Clinton Park currently houses 47 plots and Aston Clinton Parish Council are responsible for the tenancies. Tenants must pay a further deposit of £22.00 in addition at the start of their tenancies. Please find a copy of our Allotment Agreement for 2024 below.
Who can have an allotment?
Due to high demand, we currently have a waiting list and are only accepting Aston Clinton and Buckland residents at present. Anyone who lives within the boundary of Aston Clinton or Buckland can apply for an Allotment.
Waiting lists
Aston Clinton Parish Council will keep a waiting list of people interested in renting an Allotment. When one becomes available and ready for use it will be offered by Aston Clinton Parish Council who will contact you and request for you to visit the plot before you commit to an agreement.
Apply for an allotment
To apply for an Allotment download an application form below and send it to us via email admin@astonclinton.org or print it out and post it to Aston Clinton Parish Council, Parish Office, Aston Clinton Park, Aston Clinton, Buckinghamshire, HP22 5HL. Please ensure you have provided verification of your permanent address with your completed application form. We will reply with an email to confirm once you have been added to the Allotment waiting list.
Grow to Give Weigh in for 2023!

We wanted to share some very important news with you all from Justine at Grow to Give regarding the final weigh in for Aston Clinton Parish Council donations to The Aylesbury Vineyard Storehouse food bank for 2023.
As you may be aware we have had a donation box set up in our allotments by the allotment shed from June 2023 until the end of October 2023 for tenants to donate any excess vegetables to their local foodbank. We are very thankful to everyone that donated this year and to our lovely allotment champions Marion, Matt and Alex who have been amazing and set up a weekly rota to kindly bring your donations to Aylesbury Vineyard this year. If you are interested in becoming a champion and would like to find out more please email the allotment administrator admin@astonclinton.org

Thanks to all of you who’ve supported Grow to Give in 2023 from Aston Clinton Allotments, we’re yet again astounded by your kindness! The full total for Aston Clinton isn’t in yet but is well over 250kgs which is fantastic! This is up from 200kgs last year
We'd also like to invite you to a small end of season event at The Vineyard Storehouse on Monday 20th November from midday until 1pm.
This will give us a chance to say thank you in person and to give more insight on how your generous donations get distributed and how The Food Bank works to support people going through difficult times with its one stop shop approach.
Adam Townsend, The Vineyard Storehouse Manager, will give us a short tour and explain the fantastic work they do.

Summer Show Allotment Competition 2023

Aston Clinton Buckland & Drayton Beauchamp Horticultural Society were delighted to present the winners of this year’s Allotment competition with their awards at the annual Summer Show. The judges had a difficult task this year as it was a close contest.
Best Kept Allotment Competition 2023
Plot 20 received the highest score for Best Kept Allotment and was awarded the Sue Lipsomb Cup for Best Kept Allotment for 2023 and as the prize will receive a free year growing courtesy of the Parish Council in 2024. The runners up in this category were plots 12 as second and 41 as third place.
Best Newcomer Competition 2023
Plot 33 received the highest score this year for Best Newcomer and was awarded the Best Newcomer trophy for 2023 and as the prize will receive a free year growing in 2024 courtesy of the Parish Council. The runners up in this category were plots 19 as second place and 43B as third place.
