Snake's Meadow Solar Farm

European Energy have announced commencement of the build phase of the Snake's Meadow solar farm, which will be located to the East of Astwood.  The site covers land within Milton Keynes, Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire, and falls under the Astwood & Hardmead, Stagsden, and (potentially) Kempston North End Parish Councils.

When operational (anticipated to be mid/ late-2027), the site will produce up to 45.5MW of renewable electricity, which can power up to 11,500 homes.

European Energy have established a website for information on the project, and this (Parish Council) page will be regularly updated as progress is shared by the constructor.
