Club Honours

Bagworth Bowls Club has had success in the annual Coalville & District competitions:- Champion of Champions (Winner 2 times & Runner-Up 1 time), Mixed Pairs (Winner 3 times & Runner-Up 2 times) and Top Rink (Winners 3 times & Runner-Up 1 time).

The club have three times been promoted into the 'A' Division, firstly in 2011 in 2013 and most recently in 2018. In both 2011 and 2013 the bowls club were unable to maintain their status and were subsequently relegated back into the 'B Division'.  Since rejoining the A Division in 2015 Bagworth have remained in the Coalville & District Top Division.

Bagworth Bowls club entered the Hinckley & District in 2019 starting out in Division 6. Following a successful debut season the club were promoted as champions into Division 5. Due to covid-19 there was no league season during 2020, but the league continued in 2021. Another successful league season in 2021 saw Bagworth promoted as champions into Division 4.

2022 proved another success for Bagworth gaining promotion to Division 3 for the 2023 season as well as winning the Hinckley & District knockout shield (div 4-6), beating Countersthorpe in a close final at Hinckley Town Bowls Club.

In 2023 Bagworth made it 4 consecutive title winning promotions to now be playing in Division 2 in the 2024 season.  Bagworth also came runners up in the Hinckley & District knockout cup (div 1-3) after losing out to Blaby in the final held at Blaby Bowls Club.

Since winning the clubs first Bowl Leicestershire competitions in 2009 the club has grown to have great success including:- Winning the 2-Wood Triples competition in 2009, Runner-Up of the 2-Wood Triples competition in 2012 and Winning the County Triples competition in 2015.

During this time individual members have had success in winning and coming runner-up in various Bowls Leicestershire competitions:- Under-18's Singles (Winner 2 times & Runner-Up 2 times), Under-25's Men's Singles (Winner 2 times), Under 25 Player of the Year (Winner 3 times), Mixed Pairs (Runners-Up 1 time), Champion of Champions (Runner-Up 1 time), 2-Wood Singles (Runner-Up 1 time) and Secretary Singles (Runner-Up 1 time).
