Barry Athletic retained the South Vale Alun Martin trophy with a comprehensive 22 shot victory over neighbours Penarth Windsor, recording their 9th title win in the 16 year history of the competition which was instigated to remember former Vale stalwart Alun Martin. Rink scores as follows: Dave Snelling, Mike Vaughan, Geoff Whittaker and Richard Bowen 16 Matthew Woodcock 10; Gary Jones, Russ Harris Chris Wright and Peter Rogers 23 Ken Mcloud 7. The club will retain the trophy and the £100 prize money that is offered for this event.
