Athletic Win Private Greens Single Rink Title

The club won the East wales Private Greens Single Rink competition at a windy and wet Llanbradach last Friday. Playing against a Penarth rink in the final, the Barry four started slowly but gradually picked up the pace on a difficult surface and eventually triumphed by 16 shots to 12, winning the cup and a cheque for £60. The picture shows the first team squad who supported the competition and helped progress through the early rounds.
