Barry Athletic achieved their aims for the season on the very last day, when promotion back to Division 1 for the PG2 team was guaranteed. This followed celebrations a week earlier when the PG1 side regained their position in Division 1 also.

Successes for the season were quarter finalists in the Super 8, losing narrowly to Pontyclun, and numerous successes at County level. Martin Clarke won the Vale of Glamorgan County Singles title; Rhys Phillips the County Under 25s title, and Dylan Brookes won the Under 18s County title. The rink of Glyn Thomas, Dave & Chris Wright and Martin Clarke did extremely well to get as far as the semi finals of the Welsh National finals in Llandrindod.
