Happy New Year to all members of Bilton Bowling Club. We are looking forward to the 2004 season with lots of news and activities at Bilton to get involved with. Here is your news for the next couple of months.

Maintenance and keeping the club in good shape.

Thank you to those who continue to look after the building and the grounds throughout the winter months. The green will have another treatment for moss shortly and the gent’s changing room has had a fresh coat of paint and a general update of the space. Work will move on to the ladies changing room this week. There’s a new worktop up in the bar area, work going on in the kitchen and the hedging clipped and trimmed. If you can get involved now or in the future just contact Richard or Derek.

Club AGM Friday 9th February 7.00

Please do your best to attend this important start to the year for the Club.

Friday night social evenings

Chicken foot evening (dominoes) Friday 26th January 7.00

Bingo evening at the clubhouse Friday 23rd February 7.00

Curling evening Friday 22nd March 7.00

Save the date – An exciting new venture - Race night Friday 19th April.

All profits from these social events will go to the Clubs centenary fund. Bring your friends and family along too and spread the word.

Registration Day Wednesday 20th March 2.00 – 7.30

Membership fees will be due from March. Registration day is arranged so you can drop in, pay your membership fee, catch up with news, enter this year’s club competitions and enjoy refreshments and cake. This year’s membership fees will be agreed at the AGM in February. Any questions? call in on a Friday evening for more information.
