The interior dimensions of the hall are 10 metres x 7.5 metres with a capacity of ~60 people seated (around tables, conference style) and 80 people seated (in rows, lecture style). There is a maximum of 100 people allowed on site at any one time.
We also have space outside the front of the hall, with a fenced off area for e.g. children to play in / a bouncy castle etc. (note - adult supervision required, as the gates aren't locked). We're sorry, but there isn't enough height inside the hall for a bouncy castle.
Included in the hire is the use of:
- Our free ultrafast WiFi
- 80 x stackable chairs
- 10 x 2' square tables
- 10 x 6' x 2' plastic foldable tables
- 10 x 6' x 2' wooden trestle tables

Our kitchen includes:
- An electric cooker
- 2 fridges and a drinks chiller cabinet
- A large microwave
- A dishwasher
- Crockery and cutlery
- A First Aid kit
Toilet facilities are modern and clean. A separate disabled-access toilet is also available, with flat disabled access from the hall car park via the side fire doors. There is also a baby changing station.
The car park to the side of the hall accommodates around 10 cars. Additional car parking is available within the village itself on Park View (please don't park in the car park next to the flats, as that is for residents only); and in the loop road next to Buildwas Church, a short walk away.
As with all public buildings, Buildwas Village Hall is a No Smoking Zone. We therefore ask hirers to refrain from smoking on the premises (inside and outside the building).
Buildwas Village Hall is not a licensed premises although if an individual hirer wants to sell alcohol at an event a Temporary Event Notice can be applied for from Shropshire Council.
