Elevenses

Elevenses on Saturday, December 20th, from 10:30 am until 12 noon, will be supporting our local Community First Responders. Come along to find out more, as well as enjoying hot and cold drinks, delicious homemade cakes and some good conversation! All proceeds from refreshments will be donated to Burntwood Community First Responders.

Community First Responders are amazing highly trained volunteers, who respond to emergency 999 calls for the ambulance service. Responders are ‘called out’ by West Midlands Ambulance Service if they can reach a life-threatening situation quicker than an Ambulance Crew. Community First Responders normally cover an area approximately seven minutes travelling time from their home or workplace responding to: cardiac arrests, heart attacks, strokes, choking, diabetic emergencies and traumatic emergencies.
