President’s Charity 2026

For my charity this year I am hoping to raise some money for the children’s Oncology Ward at Broomfield Hospital – the Phoenix Ward.  Money raised for this ward will help them to continue improving the care and experience they provide for children and their parents during their cancer treatment.  Donations are used for a wide variety of projects – from enhancing the ward environment to funding specialist equipment, toys and other comforts that help to make a hospital stay a little easier for young patients.  They are particularly in need of sensory equipment and distraction items and equipment to help the children during treatment and throughout their time on the ward so I am hoping that we can help a little way towards this.  They are currently setting up a new sensory room so will need  equipment etc. to furnish that.
