THL Ladies Presidents Day
Monday 23rd May 2022 marked the first time a Ladies Tendring Hundred League had held a Presidents day. We were all very proud that our very own Match Secretary, Gill Chinery, had been nominated to take up this post especially in our own club Centenary Year.
Despite the rain, Gill had the day well organised and under control with lots of inside fun and games. A wonderful meal was prepared and served by our own gentlemen bowlers followed later in the afternoon by afternoon tea and cake.
Gill choose the colour theme of purple as it was related to her special charity, 'wish upon a fairy' and also it was the colours of the Queens Platinum Jubilee.
