Allotments

Background

Allotments were first suggested during the development of the Neighbourhood Plan.

Within 1 month of the Plan having been 'Made' at the Referendum there was a meeting arranged for residents of the Parish who were interested in renting an allotment.  Cooperation between the National Allotment Society and the Parish Council produced a Lease Agreement for the fledgling Allotment Association and also a Tenancy Agreement between individuals and the Association.

Work on the creation of the Allotments started in the Spring of 2018.

The Current Situation

There are 20 full size allotments (approximately 140 sq m, and 2 half-sized.

Eligibility

Any resident of the Parish can apply for an allotment to the Clarborough & Welham Allotment  Association.

The current situation, as of July 2023, is that all allotments are occupied.
