Ladies and Gents Doubles

Big thank you to David Dumbarton and everyone involved with organising the Ladies and Gents doubles competitions yesterday (sun 26 Apr). 

The sun shone brightly and everyone was entertained with a good days bowling throughout. The Green was once again in excellent condition thanks to green keeper, Bert Morris. 

I thought trick shots were only in snooker until yesterday, until I saw 3 different woods planted onto each other until the last one eventually hit the jack off the Green. A lucky shot will now forever be known as a “Bill Meek”. If you saw it, you will know. 😉
