Book Club

Culworth Book Club has been around since 2016.  We try to read a wide range of styles and genres, and challenge ourselves too!

Recent reads include Educated by Tara Westover, a pretty harrowing but ultimately uplifting coming of age tale, Golden Hill by Francis Spufford, a picaresque tale set in mid 18th century Manhattan which was unusual and entertaining and more recently The Midnight Library by Matt Haig, a philosophical and thought provoking novel about life and death.

We meet on a Thursday evening every 2 months and welcome new members.   It’s a friendly and welcoming group and we share the hosting enjoying lively discussion over drinks and nibbles.
