Kent County Councillor, Michael Brown, authorised funding through his Combined Member Grant to support the refurbishment of the parish-owned bus shelter located at Green Street Green Road. The allocated funding amounts to £780.00, which was dedicated to enhancing the shelter's structure and installing windows to offer better protection against adverse weather conditions.

The total cost to complete the refurbishment was £1,780.00. The Parish Council expresses its gratitude to Councillor Brown for the funding, which made a significant contribution toward these expenses and enabled the successful completion of the project.

The newly refurbished bus shelter now offers a more comfortable and secure waiting area for local residents, especially during periods of bad weather. The addition of windows has notably improved both the functionality and the overall appearance of the shelter, making it a more attractive feature in the community. The Parish Council is optimistic about the positive impact this improvement will have on commuters and extends thanks to everyone who contributed to the completion of the project.
