“After living here for two months we decided to find a Short Mat Bowls Club as we so enjoyed Bowls at the small club where we lived previously. After finding the Doddington SMBC contact number in the 'Doddington's Doings' magazine, we made enquiries and fortunately vacancies were available. Massively apprehensive initially, all 'fears' were quashed when we walked into the Village Hall and were greeted by so many 'smiley' strangers who, now, we regard as friends. The club is so well run and organised that we feel privileged to belong. It not only provides a fun, social evening but also offers the opportunities to progress into the league, to play in charity events and friendlies against other clubs and gives so much more.
