Please be advised that a vacancy exists as a Parish Councillor on the East Dean Parish Council caused by the resignation of a Parish Councillor. In strict compliance with the law, please see the Notice of Vacancy in the Office of Councillor below.
The next meeting of the East Dean Parish Council will be held in May 2026 and the date will be confirmed shortly. In May, the Parish Council is legally required to hold the Annual Parish Assembly, Annual General Meeting, at which the Chair and Vice-Chair for the 2026/2027 municipal year will be elected and then the ordinary May Parish Council meeting. It is intended to hold all three meetings on the same day but they MUST be separate meetings. They cannot be held as one meeting.
