Welcome to East Preston & Kingston Bowls Club 2024

Would you like to learn how to play bowls and have a go yourself, then come along to the first of our mixed open days 2024, on Sunday 19th May between 10.00am and 4.00pm, where coaching sessions for those new to bowls are being held.

Or do you want to improve your game or play competitively in club competitions & matches, regional leagues & competitions as part of our club?   Then a warm welcome awaits you at East Preston & Kingston Bowls Club.  We are an inclusive, friendly and successful club that provides sporting and social activities for a cross-section of people from their teens to their 90’s. Our club provides support and friendship thoughout the year and actively encourages people that are new to the sport as well as experienced bowlers.  We are a growing community club with the ambition to provide facilities and events which meet the needs of existing and potential new members.

Our green is open from late April to the end of September, and during this period we regularly play both home and away against other clubs.  In addition to this, during the closed outdoor season from October to the end of March, we play a number of indoor friendlies and league games against other clubs playing short mat bowls, using two 45 feet long mats in our Clubhouse.

All levels of skill are catered for and several social events are also held each year to which other family members are welcome.  New members are always welcome, whatever experience or age, from complete beginners to seasoned players and we provide the woods to allow you to try the game along with free coaching, all you need is a pair of flat soled shoes or trainers with no heels.
If you would like to become a member, then please contact our Membership Secretary by email at members@epkbc.org  We will send you a Membership Application Form to fill in and we will arrange an informal chat to discuss your application and answer any questions before you apply.  Alternatively just turn up at our club and talk to any of our members to will be happy to assist.
