The ETRA Committee has become increasingly aware of the deteriorating condition of pavements and pathways in our area, both in terms of physical condition and restrictions caused by things like overgrown hedges.. We are concerned that these conditions are now impacting the ability of many residents to walk around safely. In particular those people who use walking aids, mobility scooters or have to push buggies etc.
We would like to compile details of the worst affected examples which we would then propose to discuss with the appropriate councils what remedial action can be taken.
If you are aware of any examples where you live then please email us the details and if possible attach a photograph. Once we have a list we will see what can be done.
