East Woodhay Village Hall About Us

East Woodhay Village Hall is a key community resource set in the beautiful countryside of the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding National Beauty.

An exciting range of new initiatives are being set in place at the East Woodhay Village Hall for the East Woodhay, Woolton Hill and other local Communities, The Hall continues to be in regular use by a number of different groups and associations, as it has since first being gifted to the Community in 1938.  The local Women's Institute, Short Mat Bowls Club, Yoga groups, Pilates, Scouts, Cubs and Beavers, pottery classes, toddler groups and more all use the hall on a regular basis but there is space in the schedule for more.

The Hall is a beautiful spacious building with a kitchen, meeting room, ample parking and a Children's outdoor playpark, looking out over our beautiful countryside (very photogenic!).  The Hall is only 15 minutes from central Newbury and easily accessible of the A34/A343.

The Hall Committee is looking for a long-term regular user for the Hall such as a Playgroup or Cafe. There is also plenty of scope for more bookings of the hall by individuals - parties, weddings, exercise/training coaching, meetings and the like we would love to hear from any kind of business, be it a gym, weddings/events planner, cafe, or something else.
