EBCS Courses 

Essex County Bowling Association policy is to recommend that all clubs have a minimum of two
coaches ideally one Coach Bowls and one English Bowls Coaching Society (EBCS).
To help clubs achieve this the EBCA has arranged the following:

We are hoping to run an EBCS Level 1 course in Sep 2025.

​Coach Bowls Courses:

The details of level 1 and level 2 courses are advertised on the Coach Bowls website. This is a great opportunity for those interested to gain a nationally recognised coaching qualification that is transferable to many other sports.

​Coach Bowls students can reclaim a Bowls England bursary , subject to a couple of conditions, for half of a courses' cost. It is suggested that applicants request half of the remaining from their clubs leaving only 25% to pay.
