EBCS Courses

Essex County Bowling Association policy is to recommend that all clubs have a minimum of two
coaches ideally one Coach Bowls and one English Bowls Coaching Society (EBCS).
To help clubs achieve this the EBCA has arranged the following:

EBCS Level 1 coaching course - Falcon Indoor BC on 19/20 and 26/27 March 2025

EBCS Level 2 coaching course - Falcon Indoor BC on 29/30 Jan and 5/6 Feb 2025

Coach Bowls Courses:

The details of level 1 and level 2 courses are advertised on the Coach Bowls website. This is a great opportunity for those interested to gain a nationally recognised coaching qualification that is transferable to many other sports.

Applicants are reminded that a Bowls England bursary is available, subject to a couple of conditions, for half of a courses' cost. It is suggested that applicants request half of the remaining from their clubs leaving only 25% to pay.
