Parish Council Elections – 2nd May 2024

Folke Parish Council is looking for Parish Councillors from all backgrounds and experiences who are passionate about their local area to put themselves forward.

Folke Parish Council is urging enthusiastic and engaged members of the community who want to make a long-lasting change, have innovative ideas or have concerns about a specific issue to stand as councillors for the opportunity to make a real difference.

The Parish of Folke comprises the communities of Alweston, Folke and Bishops Down. 

Folke Parish Council meets in Alweston Village Hall, Alweston, DT9 5HT at 7.00pm on the second Wednesday of the odd numbered months, i.e., January, March, May, July, September and November. However this maybe subject to change, please see below for the next exact meeting date.

Next meeting date: Wednesday 15th May 2024

All parishioners are welcome to attend and raise points on local issues they would like discussed and addressed. 

Parishioners who are unable to attend in person are welcome to give their queries to the Parish Clerk to be raised at the next meeting. Please see the Contacts page for details.
