The Parish of Folke comprises the communities of Alweston, Folke and Bishops Down. 

Folke Parish Council meets in Alweston Village Hall, Alweston, DT9 5HT at 7.00pm on the second Wednesday of the odd numbered months, i.e., January, March, May, July, September and November. However this maybe subject to change, please see below for the next exact meeting date.

Next meeting date: Next meeting is Wednesday 13 May 2026 at 7.00 pm.  This is our Annual Parish Meeting, please come along to meet the parish council, and raise any local issues. 

The new piece of equipment for the play park will be discussed, if you have children who use the play park, this is your opportunity to take part in the decision making.

All parishioners are welcome to attend and raise points on local issues they would like discussed and addressed. 

Parishioners who are unable to attend in person are welcome to give their queries to the Parish Clerk to be raised at the next meeting. Please see the Contacts page for details.
