Competitions

Apart from League Games and Club Games, a few members of the club have started the Hampshire and even England Games. Paul Sidwell played the Hampshire 4 wood Singles against D. Spreadbury of Fleming Park and won 21/11. He also played the Hampshire 2 wood Singles against D. Lawson of Atherley and won 17/10. Cliff Morgan didn't do so well and lost his two Hampshire games. He is, however, playing in the Hampshire Over 55's at home on the 29th May against Neil Calderwood of Lyndhurst.

Also, on this Saturday 18th May, at 3.00 pm at Home, Tony Spridgeon is playing in an England 4 wood Singles against Jim Heard of Fleming Park.

So it is Well Done to Paul, and Good Luck to Cliff and Tony in their games. Paul is going to let us know when his next games are.

It is always good to have the support of our Club members when these games are being played. So if you have the time, do go along and cheer them on.
