About Your Parish Council

What Frankton Parish Council Does:

Frankton is a small village, and the Parish Council works with limited resources to manage local responsibilities. Key duties include:

Street Lighting: Maintaining and managing the parish’s street lights.
Local Representation: Acting as a liaison between residents and higher authorities (Rugby Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council).
Planning Consultation: The council is consulted on all planning matters within the parish and provides feedback to the borough council.

Meetings and Participation:

Frankton Parish Council meetings are held regularly throughout the year, typically around five times annually. Meetings usually take place at the Bourton, Draycote & Frankton Village Hall.

Residents are welcome to attend all meetings, and a public participation session is held at the start of each meeting, providing an opportunity to raise questions or discuss local matters with the Council.

Agendas, minutes, and other formal documents can be found in the Documents section of this website.
A public forum is held at every council meeting, giving residents the opportunity to raise questions or concerns.
