Antisocial Behaviour

Anti-Social Awareness Week 18-24 July 2022

Over the past few weeks there has been an increase in Anti-Social Behaviour in the small village of Eaton, Retford.
This has ranged from Littering, Vehicle Nuisance and Obstruction of Highway. Local Officers have been provided with alarming CCTV footage showing various incidents of ASB and these are being investigated by the Retford Safer Neighbourhood Team .

As a result of this behaviour a Dispersal Order has been granted for the village of Eaton as defined in the attached map.
This order has been authorised under Section 34 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.

The Dispersal Order will be active between 09:00am on Saturday 23 July 2022 until 09:00am on Monday 25 July 2022.

A Dispersal Order means that the Police can ask a person to leave the area defined in the map for up to 48 hours to prevent Harassment, Alarm, Distress, Crime or Disorder.
Anyone who fails to leave when directed or who returns within the timeframe can be arrested.
